Smoke in La Pine from Rosland Road Fire

A fire started around 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2020 near Rosland Road, four miles northeast of La Pine. According to updates provided by Central Oregon Fire, the fire is 30 percent contained as of Sunday, July 19. Follow Central Oregon Fire's progress in fighting the fire on their website or Twitter.

DEQ is continuing to monitor air quality in the surrounding area. The air quality monitor in La Pine is currently indicating Yellow, or moderate, meaning unhealthy for extremely sensitive groups.
